He chooses to leave his perfect life behind to go to the darker side. He thinks that his whole family was never associated with the devil, and is dumbfounded when he discovers that this is not true. Brown lets himself go, saying: By giving up on his attempt to be good, he lets himself fully embrace the devil.

Brown takes this seriously and his whole life is changed because of it.
